digital signal processing, e.g., adaptive signal processing

An example of research subjects

A recursive least-squares (RLS) algorithm is a well-known and important filter in adaptive signal processing. Our laboratory proposed an RLS filter which operates stably under even no persistent exciting conditions. A leaky RLS filter obtained by a proposed criterion is interpreted as an improved procedure of a total least-squares method. An application example of a speech enhancement system was shown with this interpretation.
